We Make Relevant Films with a Bold Attitude. We Make Entertainment with an Edge.

Founded in 2007 by Ingo Fliess, if…Productions is an independent film production company, specializing in both fiction and non-fiction narratives. With a rich background as the former CEO of the “Verlag der Autoren” (one of the most renowned screenwriting agencies in the German-speaking world) and “Filmautoren AG,” Fliess has consistently placed his trust in the voices of authors, creating a culture, where authors’ unique perspectives, attitudes and personal connections to their stories are the key to impactful filmmaking.

if… Productions’ journey began with a series of sophisticated yet entertaining documentaries. Notable works include the culinary exploration “EL BULLI – COOKING IN PROGRESS” by Gereon Wetzel, the creative process behind bookmaking in “HOW TO MAKE A BOOK WITH STEIDL” by Jörg Adolph and Gereon Wetzel, as well as the thought-provoking “FREEDOM BUS” directed by Fatima Abdollahyan. → Updaten In Wolf Country

El Bulli: Cooking in Progress Variety

El Bulli: Cooking in Progress EPD Film

“Taking the idea of a cooking show to an entirely new level, EL BULLI encourages the audience to sit back, relax and enjoy every minute of these chefs’ conversations, artistic discussions, methodology and scientific approach to recipes and menu creation.”

El Bulli: Cooking in Progress Calgary International Film Festival

“This film is a memorial to a peculiarly elitist culinary aesthetic where everything is new, original, cutting edge, following the master of “molecular gastronomy” on one of his last big years.”

El Bulli: Cooking in Progress The Guardian

“An elegant, detailed study of food as avant-garde art, EL BULLI: COOKING IN PROGRESS is a tasty peek at some of the world’s most innovative and exciting cooking; as Adrià himself puts it, “the more bewilderment, the better!””

El Bulli: Cooking in Progress imdb

How to Make a Book with Steidl Kino-Zeit
